Delivery what does 24 hours mean?Most orders are dispatched 1st class the day they are ordered with no extra charge for this service. Orders received too late for dispatching the same day will be dealt with the following day. Once the orders have left us and are in the hands of the postal service, they are completely out of our control. If you have not received your order within a week of us sending it to you please contact us. . Do you offer an 'express service'?All our orders are dispatched 1st class within 24 hours. However, although most do arrive the next day, we cannot guarantee what happens once they are out of our hands. If it is urgent or absolutely vital, it is advisable to request Special Delivery. This bears an extra cost of £6.50 but will be guaranteed by 1pm the following day. Please NOTE however that as there is no post Saturday afternoons or Sundays, any orders made at the weekend may not be dispatched until Monday in which case they would arrive Tuesday. How long can names be are they limited to a certain number of characters?Only within reason! As we set the names to be printed ourselves, we can adjust the size of the fonts to fit longer names or text onto the labels. . Can I have 2 lines of text?Yes, no problem. If you require 2 lines type in your text on 2 lines. Occasionally we automatically put text onto 2 lines if the name is very long or if there is a phone number, room number, school name etc. . Can accents be included above letters, e.g. , , etc?Yes. Please type in the text with any accents you need and we will reproduce them. . Can I have coloured labels?Our labels are always white and normally printed in black as we feel this is the clearest and boldest on a white label. However, should you prefer coloured text, we can print in blue, red, green or pale pink. . Can I have different fonts?We do not encourage different fonts as plain and clear fonts such as Arial bold are easier to read. Also, keeping things simple enables us to give our very speedy service. However we can provide alternative fonts if needs be please call for details. . Do you print logos or pictures?Yes. Clear, simple logos show up the best. Please put the logo you'd like in brackets after the name. Favourites are a butterfly, heart, flower, football, train, tractor, smiley face, car, dog, cat but we have many others and will do our best to find any special request. If it is a special label for a company or work place, we will probably require a picture format such as a JPEG to be emailed to us. Please call or email with your request. .. Do the Clip-on labels irritate?No. The clips are so tiny and flat that they do not rub against the skin or irritate. Therefore they are even suitable for underwear. Will the Stick-on labels come off in the dishwasher?Generally speaking the labels will stay on in the dishwasher but it is slightly dependent on the surface onto which they are stuck. As there are so many different types of plastics we cannot test them all! However we can guarantee that on most plastics and glass they do go through the dishwasher over and over again. The sew on labels I bought look and feel like paper. They are not what I expected.Customers are sometimes surprised by our sew on labels as they still tend to think of sew on labels as the traditional woven type. Ours are printed - however they are NOT paper. They do feel a little like paper but try and rip them and it is impossible! They are therefore extremely strong, very effective and do not fray.. Do you offer a discount on large orders?Yes - please phone with details of your order and we can arrange discount however this only applies to sensibly large orders!. Can I order over the phone?Yes. There is nearly always a human available to answer your call no automated answering service! If it is very busy there is an answer phone. Please leave a message and we aim to get back to you within the hour. Can I order by fax?Yes. Please send all the necessary details to 0871 9895323. Can I, or a school, or PTA raise money by selling your labels?Yes. Please call for details and we will send you a Fund Raising Pack together with sample labels should you require them. We give 20% of sales to a school who promote our labels and there is an easy no admin for the school option! . Can I pay for my order but have it sent to another address?Yes. Just enter your delivery address rather than the billing address into the customer details section.. My iron-on labels are coming off in the wash. Why?Our iron-on labels are very effective and we guarantee they will stay on for years provided they are applied correctly. Sometimes the labels can appear to be properly adhered but after a few washes they start to peel away. This is because the heat on the iron was not high enough when they were applied. If this is the case, they need to be re-applied with a hotter iron. Although the iron shouldn't be so high as to melt the label itself, it does need to be high enough to melt the backing of the label onto the garment. This enables the label to stay on and withstand washing. They labels should also be pressed 3 times and not just tacked on - (if tacked they do appear to stay on - but tend to then peel off). LABELS COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE FOLLOW THEM CAREFULLY. If you lose them we can supply you with some more ! |
